When you think about Covid-19, the symptoms are more likely such as fever, chills, cold, and  tiredness. But they are other symptoms that vary from person to person.

Covid-19 patients also have neurological symptoms such as loss of test and smell, leading to dizziness and Vertigo.

When examined the patient with a sample from the nose, the corona was confirmed; these changes were seen before the common symptoms of Covid-19 appeared.

Dizziness can also be a symptom of corona. In addition, there have been many cases of infection in which it has been proved that coronavirus can also infect the brain.

Is dizziness a symptom of COVID-19?

Before discussing how dizziness and Vertigo are related to COVID-19, let’s describe what both of these symptoms feel like and how they differ.

Dizziness is a sense of being off-balance. If you feel dizzy, you have trouble staying balanced or may stagger when you walk.

Generally speaking, dizziness can have a variety of causes. However, some of the cases involve problems with the inner ear. Your inner ear is essential for helping maintain your balance and equilibrium.

Some types of viral infections can affect the inner ear, leading to conditions that cause dizziness  or Vertigo. One such condition is vestibular neuritis.

When does dizziness occur with COVID-19?

Some indicate that dizziness may happen as the first symptom of COVID-19.

April 2020 the report mentioned earlier noted that neurological symptoms like dizziness  presented early, and dizziness was a common symptom at the onset of illness.

Both individuals’ case studies experienced dizziness without other COVID-19 symptoms like cough
or fever.

Two studies, one from April and one from 2020, have reported dizziness as one of the only initial symptoms of COVID-19.
