Acute sciatica treatments

In many cases of acute sciatica, respond well to self-care measures, which include:

  • Do not work during severe sciatica pain.
  •  Do not wear high heels or slippers.
  • Avoid doing forward bending tasks.
  • Do not consume things made from refined flour and sugar as they damage the nervous system.


In many cases, sciatica will go away on its own; in most cases, surgery is not needed. Around half of people will recover within 6weeks.
