There is no permanent cure for Uveitis but can treat each attack depending on the inflammation’s cause, severity, and location. Its treatment may include injections under the eyes and oral medication.
In most cases, uveitis is treated with eye drops. The disease that causes uveitis, when that disease gets cured, it also gets cured on its own.
Its symptoms start to heal gradually. The focus of treating uveitis is to reduce swelling and redness in the eye.
Apart from this, the procedure of vitrectomy can also be adopted, in which the vitreous of the eye is removed with the help of a surgical procedure.
However, the number of patients undergoing this procedure is quite small, as it is done only in severe cases.
