Our immune system keeps us healthy. The immune system is spread everywhere in the body, including cells, organs, proteins, and tissues. The immune system also clears dead and faulty cells from our body.

Types of immunity
Each person’s immune system is different, but it becomes stronger during adulthood as a general rule. At this stage, we have been exposed to more pathogens and developed more immunity. That is why teens and adults are less likely to get sick than children.
There are 4 types of human immunity:
- Active immunity: This type of immunity is created by our immune system when we contact a harmful pathogen.
- Passive immunity: This type of immunity is produced by something other than one’s immune system.
- Adaptive or acquired immunity: Adaptive immunity is the type of immunity that occurs after exposure to a pathogen or infection or when we get a vaccination.
- Innate Immunity: This type of immunity comprises various barriers that defend against viruses, bacteria, parasites, and any foreign substances throughout the body.

Immune system disorders
The immune system is so complicated. Therefore there it can work wrong in many potential ways. Types of immune disorder fall into 3 categories:
In some cases, immune deficiencies can be acquired, for instance, in chronic granulomatous disease where phagocytes do not function properly.
The immune system wrongly targets healthy cells in autoimmune conditions rather than faulty cells. In this scenario, they cannot recognize themselves as a result a person may lead to autoimmune diseases such as diabetes, celiac disease, and rheumatoid arthritis.
The immune system overreacts in a way that damages healthy tissue and leads to hypersensitivity. Sometimes, our bodies respond to an allergen so strongly that it can be life-threatening.
Which blood type has the weakest immune system?
Blood group type A has the weakest immune system because people with this blood type usually have a weak immune system. Therefore, they are more likely to get autoimmune dieses such as spondyloarthropathy, vasculitis, undifferentiated connective tissue disease, Behçet’s disease, and Rheumatoid arthritis.
